Balayage is made from 80% baby alpaca and 20% fine merino wool. It is a very special yarn because it has been designed in collaboration with well known knitwear designer Melanie Berg, also known as Mairlynd on Ravelry.

Balayage is perfect for shawls and scarves and for sweaters and cardigans. Its fine stitch definition is ideal for cables, lace and colourwork such as Fair Isle. 

The mixture of delicate baby alpaca and fine merino wool makes Balayage a yarn that is exquisitely soft and gentle on the skin. It can be worn by those with the most sensitive skin and is also suitable for babies and children.

We ve managed to get our hands on a small and rare amount of Balayage Hand Dyed yarn! This gorgeous yarn perfectly coordinates with the solid colours in the stunning Balayage range. This beautiful yarn uses the same perfect fibre content as the solid colours.

We think the range makes a beautiful fade too!
